Default I'm being revved at....

Whenever I'm in a line at a traffic light lately I've been getting revved at by the ricer/tuner crowd. I guess the hood pins that actually hold my hood down, and my custom one off special hole in the muffler exhaust (which if I say so myself sounds rather nice) must make my car sound like it needs a challenge. Little do they know that my tires need replacing, the exhaust needs to be replaced and that my car hiccups and coughs between 3500 and 3700 rpm because the MAF sticks there.

Oh BTW if you haven't already figured it out this the 325i that's getting all this attention. I've thought about tuning it, and leaving the body looking like shit for that ultimate sleeper look. But then I would have to look for another E30 to put all the stuff on when this one falls apart. Not an easy task here in Michigan.

If you don't mind hauling it back north, I bet you could find a E30 rolling chassis out here in SoCal for a pittance. :dunno:

I have given that some thought. I am more in the market for something that I could drive back. My sister lives in AZ so I may have her look at some near her in the near future. I am though leaning to an E36, as a replacement right now.

When I'm out of college I intend to find a CRX somewhere in the southwest and bring it back up. h:

It has a vane in it that moves as you increase air flow through the intake and the coil is pitted in that area. I need to replace it but don't feel it in this crappy weather.
