99% of the time, I'll see Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptors in West LA.
Up in the North Bay Area, there was more variety.

Between the local PDs and the CHP, you'd see Caprice Classics, Ford Excursions, Kawasaki 1000s, the ocassional CHP Camaro or Dodge Ram and a good number of BMW K1200 motorcycles.
