i caddied over the summer and i was thinking about going back this weekend
but i'm not sure if the golf course is open during the winter. does anyone have any idea if golf courses are open in new york during the winter?

 

it depnds how cold is it right now are they doing anything to the course for the off season (since you in new york i assume that its off season doesnt mean its closed, just the slow season) it just depends i live in arizona and golf courses here are open year around. i played in a year around youth tournament in cali. so....hope that helps

so most likly its open if their no snow and its not too cold...but its going to be a really slow day. so its not a good idea to waste my time in the caddie yard all day hoping to get out.

a lot of people like to golf in the winter actually. and yes as long as there is no snow an frost delay then they will be open. anything to make a buck you know

 

maybe in AZ, but the ground is like cement in the north during winter...and if it does get above 32 and nice enough to hit the links than the ground his like a giant mudpit.
