yeah, i do pretty much the same thing at the bar where i work. im a bar back, but if a fight breaks out, im one responsible for stoppin it or gettin them out.
im not really a big guy, so when i get in between people they are like WTF?
little do they know ive been doing several martial arts since i was 7. element of surprise always wins

I am one of the nicer guys there. If you are being way too drunk and have to leave I wont wrestle you out right away, i'll ask you to leave and escort you out. If you want to be a dick and start arguing, i'll yell at you and grab you by the arm and walk you out. But like last night, it was so crazy that I ended up calling for backup on my ear piece because I dont like having more then one guy on me. That way there is also a credible witness to make sure they can back up my incident report if I end up hurting you as you try and fight me . I wont hit in the face unless absolutly necessary. No marks is a better way to avoid a lawsuit.

haha yes. afetr he got out of jail that is for verbal assault against me and my manager, and attemted assault and battery or something like that against me and still got his ass kicked, no dinner, and got to sleep with bubba
