where u born in the united states? if no say europe and some other countries they received the bcg vaccine against tb and they will get a false + result to show the vaccine is working. if u were born here u have been exposed to it. doesnt mean u have it. with 2+ results u will then receive a chest xray. if it is negative then most likely u dont have an active infection. tb can be anywhere in the body. there r some strains that r becoming drug resistant. the mexicans r bringing in such strains. tb was almost eliminated like small pox. it is typically treated with 2 drugs and u take them for 6 months up to a 2 yrs. when the course of treatment is finished your tb test will return to negative. now if u have had the bcg vaccine the test result will remain + to show that it is working. id post the drugs they give but anymore now its changing depending on the strain.
