I'm not going to answer your poll because I have never used a zen.... But I have had an Ipod Mini and shuffle and they are pretty nice and I liked them. However, itunes really sucks and I have wondered recently if I should have looked into the zen more before buying.

from reading the reviews on amazon i made a list of pros and cons
zen vision:M
pros: higher res. screen, better battery life, customizable background, comes with ac adapter
cons: bigger, $30 more than ipod, not as many useless accessories
ipod video:
pros: you'll be like all the cool rich people
cons: lower res. screen, less battery life, non-customizable background
edit: i forgot, the vision:m also has fm radio/fm radio recorder

Even though I'm a dedicated Mac user, I loathe the iPod interface.
I honestly think Creative provides a better range of features for the money.
My vote would be for the ZEN Vision:M over the iPod Video.
