old school ipod
one of my friends has an old school 15gig ipod. I'm not sure which gen it is, but it has the four buttons on the top under the screen. He asked me how much im willing to pay, but im not sure how much I should offer.
what y'all think?

thats the 3rd gen, i like those ones the most for some reason... or 2nd... does the wheel turn? or is it feel?
i guess $40 sounds good... wat condition is it in?

it's in good condition and i think the wheel spins. and he's gonna throw in a case for it.

Agreed, however you can buy batteries for those at arround 10$ on Ebay

I sold my 3rd gen 10GB 3 months ago for $80, with a case and charger and headphones. I loved the 3rd gen's interface, but now I have a black Video.

those older models don't have that docking port ... so don't expect to buy any fun accessories for it.
If the battery is still good, $40 is extremely cheap for any 15gb mp3 player.

I have a third gen that is about to go to Apple for a "battery replacement" AKA I am hoping for an iPod video.
