See the way I see it is you are not judging them really but the combination rings some bells with you. mainly from what you say is that even though they are doing gardening they don't fit the description of a "proffessional" outfit...uniforms, labeled truck etc.

Just because you encountered a situation that rang warning bells doesn't mean you are judging someone. Hell I would be worried the same as you.

I think you are judging them. But who is to say that is something wrong. We judge things all the freaking time...it is a trait that you learn to use to your advantage. Thats my take on it. If it was a white group of kids dressed in polo shirts and Khakis asking the same thing using perfect English, I still would be a little wary just for the fact that they are asking me if my car is modded. Around here, people who asks for your mods is probably eyeing out for something they want. Sure I could be wrong, but better safe than sorry.

Or this whole thing can be innocent and they are just car enthusiasts.

I agree. I feel bad for pre-judging people. But I generally don't care unless like Nightshade said, it was a combination of a few things that alerted me. Asking about what mods I have on my car is what bothered me the most. (even if it was an innocent question) Otherwise, I wouldnt care.

Yea. I bet you would probably had a different feeling if you werent standing right in front of your garage where the car is usually kept.

and black people have huge.....

and really... id be worried too... when i used to live in Sierra Vista AZ, bout 30 minutes from the border.... i always was worried when people asked what i had in my car, especially if they were hispanic race... not to be stereotypical but i always heard about hispanics scoping out cars, I.E. asking questions about mods and such... the next day... my buddies would find out people trying to pry open their cars of course they stopped cuz of some extremely annoying alarms...h: so no i dont blame you

Umm..yeah ok show us scientific proof of this "fact".

I used to be 20 times more likely to steal your car by the time you reached your front door from getting out of the car.

Oh yeah and I am white.
