wedding planning
Seriously let the women do it.
It's not worth the headache you will hear from your mother, mother inlaw, her sisters, and such.
But since you are getting married in the fall couple of things:
1. Getting married on a Saturday is more expensive than a Friday.
2. Sometimes colleges have chefs that can whip you up a cake way cheaper than a bakery. Like trying to do it for their classes.
3. Don't let family members have any say in the wedding or they will think they own you and the wedding. Remember it's YOUR wedding. You guys are getting married so the wedding should be yours'.
4. Don't go on a honeymoon anywhere on the east coast or you will risk hurricane season problems.
5. Don't have an outdoor wedding or you will have to rely on mother nature to make sure the day is sunny.

We are looking at Fall '07 but that's a lot closer than it seems. :noes: Serious responses would be greatly appreciated.

It's not as hard to do yourself as you may think though, I mean theres a lot of little shit and it adds up fast but if you get your families involved in helping out with the planning you may find it is easier than you think.
