what brand of memory does Dell use?

Default what brand of memory does Dell use?

specifically on the Inspiron 9100. does anyone know?

i'm not sure who makes it for them but I have used Kingston as well as Crucial memory in my Latitude with no problem. Just go to their website and use their memory finder. Then go to newegg or zipzoomfly to purchase.

And what is wrong with Dell? Are you jumping on the bandwagon of haters?

Dell probably makes some of the best personal PC's out there right now, and is the only computer I'd buy short of custom building my own.

My only qualm with them is that their customer support is terrible.

yeah, i tried. no luck. it's obnoxious how fast memory is phased out.

I had two of them. And they both sucked and I ha to get another PC.

Brad was down my house every other day fixing it for me.

Probably user error. If it isn't hardware related and your software is just getting messed up, it's probably user error and can happen on any platform.
