3 weeks in Asia
So yeah, I went to Asia for 3 weeks.
Phuket, Thailand
Bangkok, Thailand
Saigon, Vietnam
Nha Trang, Vietnam
Hong Kong, China
I spent various days at these places, and although I enjoyed my time there I had mixed feelings about the trip at times
Good:
1. CHEAP FOOD - I ate seafood like there's no tomorrow. I can get a fish cooked for me in Thailand for like $1. In Nha Trang we feasted like kings on crabs, lobster, prawns, fish, squids....you name it....for around $60. FYI there were 6 of us, and we ate A LOT.
2. Great climate, sorta: I walked around in shorts and a t-shirt all day long in the middle of winter. I got used to the humidity by the 3rd day so it wasn't as bad.
3. Beautiful beaches: I didn't see oil stains on the beaches like I do here in CA
4. Beautiful women: I didn't like the girls in Thailand, but some of the girls in Saigon were drop dead gorgeous. NO MAKE-UP !!! Sorry Hong Kong, wtf is up with that f**cked up haircut all the chicks seem to like?
5. Great massages: In Thailand only!! Those old ladies are tiny, but I am sure they can break me in half very easily.
6. I am a rock star at every club I go to - VIP rooms and bottles for half the price in the US hahahaha....
7. Girls to Guys ratio is very favorable
Bad
1. People are so poor that they would do anything for money. I mean ANYTHING !!!
2. Seeing my own countrymen so corrupted
3. Seeing girls younger than my sister going into prostitution.
4. Got mixed up in a scuffle with the local mobster in Nha Trang....not my fault....but damn I was kinda pissed we had to end our day so early. I guess I shouldn't be upset since no one got hurt.
Observations:
Almost everyone is rich in Hong Kong (Of course not everyone, but the wealth is there for a lot of people). I mean, they must be if I see Aston Martins, Lambos, Ferari's, Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes left and right....and yah...Euro cars have 300% import tax...or was it 200%? Either way, it's outrageous and these people can afford it.
In Thailand and VN - EVERYONE has a price. If you've been there you would know what I mean.
OK....more on my trip and pictures later....I am exhausted...been back for a while and I still have weird sleeping habits....
