Default DVD Burner help!

I'm looking to get a dual layer dvd burner for my computer. I will be getting a box to put it in so it will be external. What brands are good and how much should I be expecting to pay?

I would prefer it to be dual layer, but single would work too. Its mainly going to be for backups of music or programs or movies.

$40 NEC FTW

16x burners dont always run at 16x in external boxes... check the cdfreaks forums and check out what other people use.
