Default Why Hollywood...why?

OK in our continuing discussion of movies both good and bad and the steady decline of movie quality I must register my disgust at this movie being remade for the 200th time.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0455857/

I mean really hasn't this plotline been beaten like a dead horse one too many times yet? I seem to remember a slew of movies through the 90s using a nearly identical plot and a couple in the 80s as well.

As usual I am sure everyone will laud it as a really scary movie and it will do great in the box office

bahaha...I thought the exact same thing when I saw the commercial. I thought it was a spoof or something..."The call is coming from inside the house!"

I honestly thought the trailer was a joke the first time I saw it...then was like "wait...this is a real movie? You've got to be shitting me."
