me and my buddy were discussing some video games and well i guess there was a horror/scary game for the cube that basically messed with your tv and such....


anyone know what it could be? im curioush:

 

without extra hardware... controlling the tv isnt possible.

 

Eternal Darkness... That game does it's best to mess with you, and will do things like turn down the game's volume while putting a fake volume bar on the screen.... Also gave me a Blue Screen of Death, saw cockroaches running across the screen, and once while reloading a gun it misfired, killing me... only to flash out a few seconds later and show it was a hallucination...

 

i was guessing not literally...but yeah pretty much the explanation/info Epoch gave.... is it any good? im thinking of buying it, i wanna see how trippy it ish:

 

For the price you can get it now, definately. You can get it used for <$10 I think now...


It offers you 2 paths, but as far as I can tell, the story is basically the same...

 

Yeah when I started playing that game I had enjoyed a bit of nature and I heard dogs barking, I answered the door three different times because of a doorbell sound, I heard people talking, blue screen of death, volume control, return to main menu (that one really got me), and a bunch of others.

It seems like it is timed to mess with you for every 30-45 minutes of play so it kind of forces you to put the controller down for a minute. Pretty cool concept but the game itself was a bit too easy, only reason I kept playing it was to see how it was going to mess with me again:chuckles:

Nope..haven't played it in a long time so I have forgotten the actual game, I just remember it messing with me a lot.

 

h: then obviously im thinking of another game. is it only available for gamecube?
