Default Manny Pacquiao vs. Erik Morales

Any boxing fans? So who you thinks gonna win? Last fight was a draw but Pacman did some KO's early in the fight.

i know if pacquiao loses, every filipino is going to say "it was fixed". if he wins, they wont assume that it fixed in his favor.

You're thinking of the Juan Manuel Marquez fight. Morales edged out Pacquiao 115-113 on all scorecards the first time around, and there were no knockdowns.

My analysis of the fight:
The first fight was extremely close. Morales only won it by one round. He opened a cut on Pacquiao's eye with a nasty headbutt, but was ruled as a punch. I would say that cost Pacquiao a few rounds because he was reluctant to fight his style: volume punching. He was too conservative and he was losing rounds because of it. Also, look at their last fights. Morales just came off of an embarrasing loss to a not top-five super-featherweight Zahir Raheem. Pacquiao KO'ed former world champion Velasquez. He also showed that he has been working on his right jab and hook, unlike his straight-left-only punching against Morales in their first fight. He also has a better manager (Shelly Finkel) now and is more focused in his new closed-session training.

I say Pacquiao wins a close decision.

pacman 3 of 3 or wins by KO after 6 or 7 rounds.

I expect Morales to make a statement in this fight, that his loss to Raheem was a fluke and he's still on top of his game. I pick Morales by unanimous decision. Pacquiao is a puncher, no doubt about it, but did you guys see what Marquez did to him after getting up off the canvas in their fight? Manny barely escaped with a draw, even after a 10-6 first round, and his newly found right hook and jab won't be around for very long in this fight because after you get rocked a few times you have a way of resorting back to your old, comfortable habits. It easy to display the new things you worked on in camp when you're whooping somebody pretty handily, but it's a whole 'nother ballgame to do it when somebody is taggin' you.

That wasn't Barerra, that was Juan Manuel Marquez, and Pacquiao broke his left hand in that fight.

Besides, Morales got him with a few good shots, Pacquiao got him with some good shots, but neither fighter was anywhere near queer street in that fight. Both fighters have iron chins, so I don't think either will get hurt at all in this fight.
