Default W.w.y.d.?

Let's say you're a professional athlete, and let's say your wife and kids are in the stands watching your game. During a time-out, you look up in the stands and notice your wife is being threatened by some man up there, what do you do?

1. Finish listening to the coach's game plan and then ask her about it after the game

2. Run up there and protect your wife and kids

3. Find a security guard and tell him to go handle it so you can get back into the game and avoid a fine and/or suspension.

Antonio Davis of the New York Knicks went up into the stands last night to "evaluate the situation" and make sure his wife was ok, prompting a 5 game suspension from David Stern for breaking the rule of going into the stands. No punches were thrown, or beer, no riot, no politically incorrect comments made, just a man protecting his family and getting them out of harms way.

So what would you do? Do you agree with the suspension?

Since he didn't act like a fool, I don't see anything wrong in what he did.

Talk about hard-assed. That's taking things way too far.

Tell me Stern wouldn't have done the same thing if he was in the same situation. :a:
I certainly would have.

There was no violence or disruption.
That suspension is utter bullshit.

I didn't know about this till reading this thread and this seriously makes me mad.

I'm a very protective person when it comes to family/friends, and even if I was a pro athlete, I don't see how anyone wouldnt go and see what the problem was.

complete crap.
