Default Need a quick fix for XP

This is a pretty insignificant fix, but I need a "clear desktop" button in my quick launch menu that is next to the start button. I can't figure out how to get one there but I've seen it on several computers, including my old laptop. I just don't see any options for it on my comp.

kthxbi

you mean the show desktop button?

just hit the windows button + D

the icon can most likely be found in

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Yeah, my mistake was established before...and the icon wasn't in there, that was my problem. But it's fixed now, thanks anyway.

did you lose/delete the show desktop icon? I did that a couple months ago by accident. I just did a google search for "show desktop icon" or something. It involved putting something in a .txt file and then renaming it...

EDIT - well, i guess i'm too slow...
