There's this little concept called suspension of disbelief wherein a person watching a movie acknowledges that while the stuff being shown on the screen is clearly absurd, it's kinda fun to watch anyway.
Now a movie can either get an audience to suspend their disbelief, or not. But if you know going into it that this movie is going to be ridiculous and decide not to worry about it, that generally makes the movie more fun to watch.

Sometimes a ridiculous movie is fun...not everything has to be realistic. I mean, you do like action flicks right? I wouldn't call hardly any of em realistic.
I agree, sometimes a ridiculous movie is fun, but for me, in most cases these movies are slaptstick comedies or science fiction thrillers. I don't see how a ridiculously unrealistic action movie could be enjoyable......unless it involves nudity of the sexy leading lady:naughty:
