I am usually aware of just how fast I am driving, and if I get caught speeding that's my fault. I just pay the ticket and get on with life. My last ticket was written for 5 over but I was clocked at 20 over, the road was empty and I was just driving along.($90 plus 1 point no effect on insurance) Before that I got one for ten over on the Eway when the officer wrote it for 10 over, I just pulled over for him and didn't say anything he had clocked me at 90 plus. ($140 and 2 points raised insurance $3 a month for 2 years)

5-10 over in the city, 5-15 over on the highway depending on traffic, time of day, which highway, etc. I try to go right at the limit or 1-2 over if it's a school zone.
I've gotten tickets for going this much over:
13mph (city)-age 17
15mph (city)-age 18
18mph (highway)-age 19
16mph (city)-age 23- didn't realize I was in a school zone. I was only 1mph over the regular speed limit.
One speeding ticket in the last 5 years isn't too bad.
