Somebody said "where is the Denver v. Pats thread" so here it is along with some lovely news from the pepsi center.

Denver frickin tore them a new one. Any game when the punt returner gets knocked on his ass and the ball stripped by the kicker is a good game in my book.

PART 2:

The Avs met Peter Forsberg for the first time since he left the team and managed to beat the Flyers in a pretty good overtime win. So in the last two weeks the Avs have gone from second to last in the northwest division to knocking on the door of first. I've got tix for the calgary game next week :yay:

 

I'm so happy the patriots are not going to the Super Bowl that it makes me feel better that the skins aren't h:

I know! That really made me feel better. Well, maybe not a whole lot, but a little.

 

...and the flyers are tied for first in the league. David Abeicher has really pulled his head out of his ass. Three weeks ago, I was pretty sure he was gonna get fired, but now he's on a role and playing like a real goaltender. I can't tell you how phsyched I was to see the Avs playing quickly and fluidly and not making dipshit passes and dump/chase moves. We're only two points behind calgary :yay:
