Default How much would you pay?

I found this S2k at a local dealership and they are asking 23K for a 03 GPW S2k in good/excellent condition.... its got 32K+ miles on it....


im just trying to get some inpurt cuz i dont wanna seem like a low baller nor do i want to pay too much for an s2k.... how much should i try and talk them down to?


if everything else fails anyways ill just walk out i like having money in my bank accounth:

Talk them down to $20K. My neighbor got his '01 in 2003 for $19,200 out the door with 32K on it. They'll budge if you play hardball.

32K is kinda high for that year. I'd have to say around 20K (w. warranty) is fair though.

ok i thinking in the right area atleast, 32 did seem high for that year... and at the lowest i would have guess they would go as low as 20K ok thank you guys i just setup a meeting with a sales rep on monday -_- wish me luck-o

well i went, i test drove, but they wouldnt go any lower than 20K plus a trade in... oh well... whatever.... i can wait... the longer i save the better the car anyways maybe ill be able to afford an NSX if i wait 2 years lol

That happened to my sister when she was looking at some Kias. They wouldn't go low enough so they left. About 2 or 3 days later they called back and went really low, but she changed her mind.

She likes the Honda Fit! Woo! its a possibility.

lol happen to my sister 2 weeks ago when she bought her 05 4 runner... she came in cuz she saw a net ad for 27, she ask for 24 and said she had the check in hand within an hour...they wouldnt budge so she left, after 3 hours they called her back.... -_- if they dont call back i could care less...like i said...the longer it takes the more i save lolh:

In CA, s2k's go for a lot. They hold their value pretty much anywhere. I've seen s2k's with higher miles sell for more than that.

i bet... there arent a lot here lately... my buddy got his for 20K a year and a half ago... with 12K miles on it and it was an 02.... so i know dealers hear get real generous when u show them the cash... i was ready to write a check for 20K *well the bank* but hell they wouldnt budge so i left... its more of a want than a need... i know my battlesh:
