you don't get cash, you get the amount back on as a store credit.


the only way you get cash back is if you pay with cash, check, or debit card.

I think you might have ... but your results may vary depending on the store / clerk.

I know Target, Wal-Mart, Kohls, and Home Depot do the gift card payment = gift card returned thing.



then again, some people don't want to go though the hassle of buying & returning for cash. :dunno:

 

should start buying all the gift cards on Ebay and return them for a small profit...

 

But how can you be so sure that the amount they say they're selling it for is actually still loaded into the card? How can they prove that a 300 dollar gift card doesn't have a remaining balance of 5 bucks?

The thought occured to me when MickeyD's had the BB bucks and they were selling the BB bucks on ebay. I just thought, "How do I know that they haven't already used the code online and just sell the physical game piece?" h:
