The whole aluminum case is a heat sink. So for most hard drives don't need active cooling with this method.

Only the most hot running hard drives would need a fan (active cooling).

Got it today. Very sexy. I ike it alot so far. It is kinda thick because of the fan but it will work out once I get a second one and stack it. Right now it is running a little warm, but thats ok. Overall I'm liking it. Fast speed, sleek style, love the colors and the tinted cover. I'll take pictures once I find a camera.

Although the shipping did take a little long. 4 days, but that was ok since even if they had got it out here, they wouldn't have delivered it.
