Anyways, this isn't about me not liking a genre or people not liking SOAD...just asking if anybody else has been in a cover band before.

Uh, hardcore is some of the most hardest shit I've ever learned to play and I've been playing for 10 years. Sure saosin isn't that hard to play but a lot of hardcore/metal is 6/6 sweeps 10th's hammers etc. I used to hate that kind of music, but as a musician it grows on you when you take the time to look at the complexity of it.
