I used to ski when I was younger, then I stopped it all for a while and then I started snowboarding...
both are fun, flip a coin.

i went snowboarding for the first time over winter break, i was able to go all the way down the slope without falling after 3 runs

i never have tried skies but by the looks of it, snowboarding > ski

Last winter I learned to snowboard. I skiied 10+ years prior to that. Let me tell ya, the only thing skiing helps you with is not being afraid to go down the mountain. I fell a lot, but I can get down greens now.

IMHO, skis are more maneuverable than snowboards. I found it a lot more difficult to do the narrow windy trails on the snowboard than on skis.
