Default for you studio/recording folk

just picked up a yamaha motif es7 last night from guitar center. got the guy to give me $200 sale price for a total of $2.3k. havent had any time to really mess around w/ it yet, but im definitely going to have to study up. had to buy an 'essentials' pack that came w/ some dimm memory for live sampling and it also came w/ a tutorial dvd. id post pics but im at work.

anyone ever use this for recording or performance purposes?

ive had some experience w/ the korg triton studios and karmas, but i thought id give this sucker a shot. cant wait to get crackin.

I have a Korg MIDI controller. I had a Yamaha on loan from a friend but it was too damn big I think it was 144 keys. The one I use now it 36. I basically just use it to program the drums with Drum Kit From Hell then send it all to my behringer mx2442a and from there into my m-audio card.
