I smoked for a long time when I hung out with friends that smoked. I don't even know why I did, but hey I liked it. But as of August 2005 I haven't had one. I kind stopped hanging around those that smoked, and even when I did, I respected my GF and didn't smoke in front of her, since she hates it.

Before I knew it I had quit, after a week of really bad headaches, and restless nights.

Anyways, every once in a while, I'll crave for one, like tonight on the ride home, but since I don't have any, I don't and it usally goes away...

So my question is, anyone else like this, and will this ever go away?

 

It takes like seven fucking years for it to completely go away according to some studies. I had quit for a full year and every night dealt with sleep problems, etc.

Ya bro. Just fight it. Get some gum or the patch. Every time I get those urges and smoke one, it will lead to more and the cycle starts yet again. 8 years of smoking is too long for my own good.

Its only once in a while thoe. I want to say like once a week or once every two. I usally fight it, because I know its only good for me. And when i get them I'm with my GF, she is a good helper to fighting it off.

I agree, cancer is the easier route. h: I'm down to 4-5 cigarettes a day and can't go any lower than that without going nuts.
