Default attn: those with Miata experience.

My girlfriend's cousin's first gen miata's clutch just went out.

1. how much does a mazda dealer charge, parts and labor?
2. how much would a mazda independent charge?

i'm debating if i can do it myself...pending these questions:
1. how much does a miata transmission weigh?
2. are there any specialty tools needed to do the job on jackstands in a apartment garage?

thanks!

Tell me you are not taking it to the stealership :slap: They are going to rape you for twice the price of an outside mechanic and do the same job.

Do it yourself ftw

Why not just buy a Haynes manual for the Miata and have no questions left to answer?

:duh:
