Well that may be, but one has to do (or not do) something to get a warrant. It's not just a random occurance.

It was a bench warrent out. And also a misdemeanor driving w/ susp lisc.
I got a lawyer, he cleaned it up. I payed the fine but the court claims they never received it, and since its been a while its technically failure to pay so its back out for my in NY.
I have the money order recipet made out to the court, I just have to track down the paperwork to show I paid it.
Doesnt matter too much, I dont live in NY anymore anyways. I just need it fixed before I get my National Background done for Fire Acadamy.

Exactly. I had a thread or two about this a while ago.
Problem with the po'dunk court in that town is they are open like M,T,W,F from 930 - 4... or some crazy crap like that. And they dont answer their phones.
