well, it was actually the first time I used that wrench, and it was set to zero in the box :dunno: but yes, I always put it back to zero.

I assume you have a Helm's manual and not some crappy one like Haynes or Chilton's?

I was going to suggest the same thing as OLDMAN. Should go back and read the torque spec on the oil pan and make sure it is inch lbs instead of ft lbs. Well good luck with it
