My new to me dog







This was right after I picked him up. we stopped in at home for about 20 minutes or so then jumped in the truck and drove up to Bald Peak and I let him off the leash to run around for about an hour. I was a little worried he might run off or not come when I called him but he reacted perfectly to my calls and he explored around without me worrying where he was at all.

The mix is Retriever/Newfoundland which ends up making him not really tall but stocky as all hell. His shoulders are huge, though it's hard to tell in the pics, but he is very well mannered. After the walk in the woods we went and had coffee up at Starbucks to introduce him around and now he is crashed out at my feet.

I am very happy with the choice we made with this dog, though he is a bit boigger than I wanted his temperment more than makes up for the size.

He has his winter coat but come spring I am going to take him in to get trimmed up. He will always have a pretty long coat though just because of the breeding

Well kinda tough to get a dog to sit there and look at the camera when you are letting him run around
