Pirates are on boats and Ninjas don't have boats, so Pirates can't steal money from Ninjas or vice versa. Its a matter of location. Unless the ninjas were practicing thier jumping tecniques by bungee-jumping off a bridge where a Pirate ship may be directly below, so that Pockects could get picked from a Ninja at the end of his jump.

Pirates are cooler, but ninjas would deffinelty kick their asses. Even if the pirtates did have guns they were single round guns.
