Well wish me luck, I gotta tell my dad/boss that I have to take a short day because I'm going to a job interview tomorrow. I'm sure he'll understand, but it's just going to be hard since it's just he and I at the shop and the fact that he's my dad...I don't want to hurt his feelings or anything.

Oh plus don't feel to bad that you work for your dad. I myself work for my uncle and in the process of finding a better paying job. My uncle understands that if i leave its for my best and that i can acheive higher if i do leave. As long as you and your father have an understanding that you want a brighter career and to further educate yourself in the workforce then im sure he won't mind you leaving, just let him know in advance so he can atleast find someone to replace you.
