Default vodka expiration?

how long would it take for open vodka to become "diluted" or ... bad?

assuming that open vodka means you open it, and then seal it again.

Unless you left the lid off for a couple days the alcoho would not evaporate.

A couple weeks is nothing, When I bartended we had bottles of Vodkas that had been on the shelf for well over a year or more and still drank just fine with pour spouts in them.

My guess is someone drank a bunch then poured water back in to make it appear untouched.

:werd: my old roommate used to pull that shit, but he would also put a little salt in it so it wouldnt freeze in the freezer cause if you fill it with water its a pretty good give away when there is a frozen bottle of Ketel One in the freezer
