I was going to say there is no way they are legal to drive on the streets. Since it has 4 wheels it's considered a vehicle and not a motorcycle. Plus there's no crash ratings or anything on it I believe, which Uncle Sam doesn't like touching our highways.

Someone brought over an Elise back in 1998 and it was only used for track days and autocrosses.

my question to this then is how do you justify street legal dune buggys...i dont know bout other states but in michigan at least as long as its got seatbelts and the proper lighting u can plate them. would seem to me it would be in the same class.
