Default Creepy Sheit...

So its about 3:40am right now. I stayed up to win something on ebay for my Nintendo DS. I won the item (yay!) and was just sitting here playing my Ds and i hear this faint noise. At first...it sounded like a vibration of a phone or something...:dunno: cuz my DS sound was on.

So i stopped for a sec to listen closer...turned down my DS...and sat there. I realized it was a car alarm. Sounded kinda far off from my room but i still I went downstairs by the front door, it seemed a bit closer from that spot. I was still a little worried so I decided to go poke my head into the garage, where i can hear better (My TL, my Parents's TL and my brothers car are all outside). Oh shit...i heard it...its my fawking car alarm! :noes:

So then i started freaking out. I woke up my brother and told him that my alarm is goin off...asked him to come with me outside to turn it off/see whats goin on. He got his flashlight and we opened the garage door...it wasn't my TL it was my parents TL! At that point i was scared to see a broken window. Cuz it is not cold out today, about 35 deg (yes that is warm here for winter!)

My brother turned the alarm off and checked the car. No visible damage, and no1 could be seen in sight.

I'm officially freaked out now. Esp since my brothers car has been broken into while sitting in the driveway b4. Now i can't sleep and every little creak in the house freaks me out even more! :ugh:

What the hell is goin on?!

Could it be that something set off your alarm, not someone? I'm not familiar with alarms but I know in the parking lot, lots of things set some off even when nobody is around.

Is there a garage you could park in or a closer spot to your house?

Not really. The car is far enuf away from the house for anything to fall on it. And there is a tree kinda near it...smaller in size, not larger enuf to support an animal/object to fall from it and set off an alarm.

The car is really close to the house. We have a regular driveway, and then two extra slabs right next to the garage (we have 5 cars).

I had a buddy in HS who's alarm would go off every night ... they thought it was a faulty wire or something. He brought it into the dealer only to find out a squirrel built a nest in one of his fenders.

reminds me of the episode of pimp my ride where there's a rat living inside the dashboard.......
same sh_t happens with my alarm. but it is kinda sensitive so even if u slam the garage door, it'll go off.
