Munich
I just saw that movie. It was bomb. I didn't think it was really biased towards either side, although it explored some points of the Israeli side that alot of people neglect.
A movie that suceeds in being an action movie AND a thought-provoking movie is teh win IMO.
Discuss. Mike, you should check it out.
Best line of the movie: "Don't fuck with the Jews"-Daniel Craig

My mini-Review----------------------------------------------------------------
First of all, speaking as a Jew, I was really pleased with the way they caputed the whole mental/emotional portrait of Jewish people and Israelis. It may be hard for the rest of you to understand, but seeing all the different nationallities(South African, German, Belgian, Israeli) and the way they act, talk etc. was really dead on. +1 for them.
The action scenes were well done. Even when you know they're going to blow someone away, it's still very tense etc.
I felt that the story portrayed both sides, but also posed some interesting questions that the Israelis ask yet are frequently downplayed (i.e. do the Palestinians really want to return to the exact spot their homes were on, or do they just want to drive the Jews into the sea).
The one fault I felt it had was that the Mossad agents were way to emo. From real life experience I can say that they are hard bastards and wouldn't cry or pout or hesitate to tear your throat out and shit down your esophagus. Not like these metros.

I do not feel like posting a complete sypnosis of the story so I will guess offer reasons why this movie intrigued me quite a bit.
The moral rise and fall of the protagonist was detailed and disheartening at the same time. At the beginning, Avner is quite zealous about assassinating and extremely patriotic. Near the end of the movie, he cannot tell right from wrong and death to him means nothing. He has essentially become what he hated although he does not recognize this.

Although many movies end up demonizing another side of an issue, Spielberg decided to humanize both sides of the issue so the viewer does not have to go off of generalizations and labels. The main protagionist talks to an intelligent and rational terrorist; absolutely no labels and generalizations are in this movie.
