Default Fish tank question

I have a 55 gallon tank. I had a Albino Channel Catfish that ate everything else in the tank. We moved to a new house and the transition killed it. I am now wanting to get some Pirhannahs. Is there anything special I need to do to prepare my tank for this type of fish?

well # 1. they are illegal in the states so your local pet land or Bobs tropical pet shop wont carry them.
Your gonna have to board a plane to the amazon and catch them yourself...lol. j/k

Petland doesnt sell them for sure. You might have to search for one of those mom and pop fish pet shops and ask them.

Honestly, I wouldnt even get those fish. MY little cousins would stick their finger in the tank at times. Now imagine if i had those fish.

Well I know of a location that "might" sell them. It will be high upon a stand in my bedroom with no access to people under 5 feet.

pirahana are not illegal in all states, such as my state pennsylvania. i think it all depends on where you live, and what body of water you are next to.
