Default buying a laptop

just dont know much about htem h: i mean i've seen AMD turion 64 processors, centrino, Celeron-M, celron mobiel, P4. I am lost! i dont know which would be best for me...
I want a fast, but also light and thin laptop also long lasting baterry would be cool. Which of these processor would be best?

intel centrino for the win




edit= pick anything 4lbs and less. this should work fine for a portable laptop
i have a sony VNG-S260. I had it since black friday lsat year. love it. i bought it as a replacement for my old laptop(which was a desktop replacement laptop{if you know what i mean})

Anything centrino based is what i would recommend; just don't buy a celeron... they are crap.

i had a sony VGN R505 for about 3 years never had a problem....still have it...just moved on to bigger and better things
