It had to go. There was a bug that if the date of the last post of that thread exceeded the oldest date of the post at the end of the first page, the stickied thread would move to the second page and remain stickied at the top. That is not what I was hoping to accomplish.
The fix requires manual editing of some core files, and I will not be doing that. I prefer to keep everything in as original a shape as possible. I'm sorry. :happysad:
