to know if replacing my brake pads later today will cure this occassional scraping sound i hear from the rear of the hoe. also, i haven't found my mom and sister a gift and only have a few hours left to shop til i drop.

Get your mom a purse. My stepmom is still bragging about the little red bag I got her three years ago.
And for your sister... I say get her some DVD's. It always works for me. But of course someone will argue it's not a good gift.
