not sure if this is old news or not but i know they were down for like ever & everyone was unsure if their business still existed or not. I was runnin through some stuff on ebay & saw a listing by them & made the attempt to get to their website again & out of nowhere it worked again!

just figured i'd give everyone a heads up.

 

i don't even know who AEBS are..

 

performance company out west that does sleeving.

josh's block was sleeved there, they were one of the biggest names for sleeving.

Darton / AEBS / Golden Eagle.. big names in motors

 

advanced engine breathing systems. I considered them when I was gonna build a b20 block.... you can all see how that panned out h:

 

Of course they were still in business...I posted about that before, I lived about 5 mins from there and knew the shop manager...talked to Ben a few times too. It's been rumored that he's selling AEBS though, and concentrating on his karting facility.

 

AEBS does ok work and all....but they suck at customer service. They took 6 weeks to sleeve a D16 block.

They dont return phone calls, they dont followup on paperwork. It is a surprise to me they are still in business.

 

Theyre slow on sleeving because they do all the sleeving for the Nismo race team...they take priority over everyone else....that and they're slackers, and Ben always has his guys working on stuff for the karting facility instead of cars.

 

It was suppose to be a straight trade. Unsleeved block for a sleeved block. They had one already done. When it got there...they said 3 days. (shipping time) 3 days became 3 weeks...3 weeks became 3 months. Each phone call there...nobody answered. Each time answered...they knew nothing of it.

 

Yeah...they're slackers...and Dave is a loser. o:
