Default I need to get an "external head unit" for my car...

Any ideas or DIY's?

Its cause I am going to be pimping out a hot new Grand Caravan for the next few months, both cause its winter and my car needs alot of work and I cant get it passed inspection.

Anyways its a jumbo stock headunit and I dont want to go through pulling it out... so i'll make a little enclosure maybe.

Anyways... any ideas? Or just pull out the stock one?

If you are going to make an enclosure, just get any ole headunit and mount it. You probably still have to pull it for the wiring/

i think it'd be easiest to remove the old radio. you'll have to somehow extend the stock harness to reach to your remote location ... which will take a bit of work. :a:

Pioneer Chrysler/GM-sized headunit por de nguyen.

I know for a fact that you can install it yourself because my freakin mom installed one herself in her old '96 Town & Country. Unless of course you're less mechanically inclined than my 52 year old jewish mother.
