We're going to visit my family this Sunday near NYC (actually Scarsborough and Paramus, NJ).
With the current MTA strike would I encounter any traffic jams or problems heading from PA? Just trying to plan for the worst

I think the traffic is going to be bad because it's the strike AND holiday weekend. Don't think there's anyway around it... load up Shrek on the Ody and be on your way!
