Default Questions about Sylvania Silverstars.

I forewarn you guys, I'm going to be asking some pretty stupid questions...

- Sylvania Silverstars...are they white or yellow?
- From what I understand, they're like the lights that I have in my Civic right now, except brighter, right?
- Are they easy to install? If so, what would be a short explanation on how to install them?
- What kind would I buy for an '05 Civic?
- How long do they last?

When you find them at your autoparts store, most of your questions will be answered by a little computer that's mounted on the same row where the lights are.

-More white than yellow
-They are whiter than your current lights
-Find headlight harness, take off harness, twist and take out bulb, replace. Repeat.
-I believe they use 9006 bulbs. Double check though
-Not as long as OEM.

The silverstar's last me about 6 months. The right went out then the left side. My guess is from all the current from turning on the lights going through the bulb that blew it out. 9005 to 9006 conversion. It was bright but I rather put out the door for some retro fit HIDs.
