Default NES broken? Buy a NEX.

I personally don't have a need for this, since my NES still works perfectly (thanks to a new PIN connector)...but I just thought it was neat. You do have to have NES cartridges, though...or a way to get them.

still totally bad ass for $60.

I guess the copyright for the original NES ran out. Nintendo decided NOT to renew it, so the NEX and others can now legally clone.

Have you ever seen those eBay Chinese NES systems that have 500 games built into the controller? I saw a booth at the mall selling those ... now that CAN'T be legal.

They used to have these carts back in the day that had over 30 NES games in one cart...and this was back when I was in Greece in '92. They'd just work in a regular NES, but with a little fiddling around.
It's kinda like the ones they sell at the mall. It'll advertize like 300 games, but it's really the same 20 games or so, but with different settings (difficulty, extra lives, other cheats like that).
My cousin and I were walking through the mall a couple weeks ago and saw Contra...we stopped and played a 2-player game for a few minutes...I totally still rock that game.

I have a 1000-in-1 cartridge, it's really normal for asian countries to do something like that. I had a top loader NES (aka NES II) after my OG NES died so I needed the newer NES to play my famicom cartidges

My original NES still works. Of course you have to blow in the cartridges occasionally and seat the game a few times, but it plays fine.

My NES crapped the bed in like, 1991. I miss original Mario that's about it. h:
