yeah, I work at a bodyshop that my dad owns...we could paint that car a nice stock color, wet sand & buff it all over for $3k and make it look 1,000,000 x's better than that.

What gets me about the whole car tuner thing is how nearly everyone says XXXXX dollars invested....will sell for XXX dollars. Sorry any money spent on modifying a car is not an investment, it's just an expense on a depreciating asset, quit trying to candy coat your losses.
