quick laundry question...
Ok, when it says for something to be Hand Washed only, how exactly does one go about doing this? Would it just be better to get it dry-cleaned or what?

hnoes: I'm pretty sure the nearest body of water is frozen over for the winter...guess I can't wear my sweater until the spring.
:a: Hand washing is not rocket science. There's no reason to spend 4 bucks on dry cleaning when you can do the job yourself in about 20 minutes. In fact, the dry cleaning process can screw up some dye colors in fabrics like wool.
Get yourself some diluted laundry soap (start off with a 1:3 ratio; add detergent if needed) and fill the sink with tepid water. Apply the diluted solution to the stains and lighty scrub by rubbing the fabric against itself.
Once the stains have released, drain the sink and refill with clean water. Rinse until the soapy residue is gone. Lightly squeeze off the excess water and let the sweater drip dry.
Easy as can be.
