The fire thing only happened once so far. The OG 'box is the pyromaniac, with their defective cords.

People that give bug/defect excuse: If there are any manufacturer's defects, all you need to do is call up 1-800-4MY-XBOX. They will overnight you a box free of charge, fix it (still free), and ship it back to you (free, once again) within a week (usually).

You read all the horror stories online, but the overall outlook is skewed. How many times have you read about wonderful experiences with any item? Not many. The internet is full of complaints and is almost devoid of praise.

i just cant justify paying that much for a gaming console. thats 400 dollars toward something more important. or, i could just put that into my desktop and get what i want out of it.
i will eventually buy one, but ill wait till the price drops or u can get them used. or ill get the ps3 and hold true to my roots

yup, for ungodly amounts too. my uncle some how got hold of two of them and a few games and sold each for 900 bux a piece with 2 games

 

I put mine in my entertainment center last nite and i couldnt play call of duty 2 because it freeze while loading :wtc: Im close to calling microsoft...but i cant imagine life without my 360
