I'm sick of all these big epic fantasy franchises. I watched LOTR like I felt almost compelled to see it, although I didn't really care about any of them. Return of the King had like 6 endings and I kept sitting there in the theater wanting it to ennnnd. I watched the first Harry Potter movie on DVD and afterwards I was like, "dammit why did I just watch this?" and I have no intention of seeing Narnia. It's all the same shit and I just don't dig it.

What I mean was, one thing would happen and I'd be like, "ok the movie's over now," and then it would cut to a new scene that could end the movie and I'd be like, "ok it's over now," and then it'd cut to another scene that could end the movie and I'm like, "ok it's GOTTA be over now," but it just kept going! If there was that much of the movie left to resolve then it could have been done so the however many scenes there were before the ending gave the feeling of it winding down instead of about to freaking end.

i saw the movie twice with my gf, it was her idea to see it the second time. i loved the movie, but yes it should have had more action in it. i especially love when both sides are charging at eachother before the big fight.
